After the boat, we went to back to Chester to get another rental car, and Bill & Marcia left for Ireland.  We first drove to Wales, where we saw some beautiful scenery and gardens.  We forgot to take the camera with us on one of our day-trips, so we don't have a lot of pictures from Wales, although it is very picturesque.

This is a typical scene from Snowdonia, a National Park in Wales.  As with many natural settings, the pictures can't do it justice.

This is in the side yard of a small shop in Betws-y-Coed, run by a man who was almost blind.  His son tends the garden.  We stayed in Betws-y-Coed the three nights we were in Wales.

This is along the small river that flows through Betws-y-Coed, and into the Conwy River.

Inside the Conwy Castle.  Conwy is one of the few walled cities of medieval times that still has the entire city wall still intact. You can see some of the wall in the distance.

On to Scotland.
